Inverted research grade microscope
Suitable for every laboratory - simple and easy to use
Suitable for every laboratory - simple and easy to use
The ECLIPSE Ts2 inverted microscope utilizes Nikon's industry-leading CFI60 optical system and LED illumination for transmission and epifluorescence imaging, providing excellent clear images for more effective cell culture observation and recording. In addition, the newly developed contrast observation method and improved operability have enhanced its use in routine laboratory work.
Efficient and comfortable observation
The LED light source and built-in transmission/falling fluorescence lighting system shorten the setup time, allowing users to focus on research.
Using LED for faster illumination and brighter images
LED light sources do not require calibration, allowing for faster setup and consistent results. LEDs can also eliminate frequent bulb replacement, saving users time and money.
In addition, the new Contrast Shield (optional) provides high signal-to-noise ratio fluorescence observation even in bright indoor environments.
Smooth operation
The control buttons on the Ts2 microscope are located intuitively to achieve a simplified workflow. The normally open controls such as on/off and transmission/fluorescence switch buttons are located on the front panel for easy access. The buttons related to transmission or falling fluorescence control are divided on the left and right sides of the microscope body to eliminate confusion and improve workflow efficiency.
Easy to use mechanical loading platform
High performance mechanical stage (optional) can adapt to various culture bottles and cell culture rooms. The new stage design also directly adapts to porous plates. In addition, the sample rack is easy to disassemble to accommodate large culture bottles.
Emboss Contrast "contrast technology
Emboss Contrast is a cost-effective optical technology that does not require expensive optical components. Emboss Contrast only uses a bright field objective lens and two contrast sliders to provide approximately three-dimensional and glare free images for thick samples such as iPS cells. These samples are usually affected by the halo effect of traditional phase contrast methods. In addition, Emboss Contrast is compatible with glass and plastic culture dishes, making it a very versatile observation technique.
High quality transmission and falling fluorescence observation based on LED
There are two models available to meet your needs: Eclipse Ts2 for transmissive lighting and Eclipse Ts2-FL for epifluorescence lighting. High intensity LED light sources are used for transmissive and epifluorescence lighting. The built-in compound eye lens ensures uniform brightness throughout the entire field of view.
Compact and highly stable body
The lighting module, including the falling fluorescent light source, has been seamlessly integrated into the microscope body, forming a compact and simple design form while also being durable. The compact structure also has seismic resistance, providing highly stable sample observation.
The camera port is located on the side of the microscope, allowing unobstructed viewing of the stage even when placed inside the culture hood
